Is Cheryl Cole Back On U.S. ‘X-Factor’?

There have been some reports recently by British news tabloids that have stated that Cheryl Cole, one of the judges on the UK version of X-Factor and the supposedly fired upcoming judge from the U.S. version of the series, has been rehired. If you didn’t know the story already, Cheryl was supposed to be one of the judges on the American version of the show until she either got fired or was homesick, since no reports have been made on the story. Nicole Scherzinger as of now is to take her place as judge. Now, there are reports being made that Cheryl will indeed return to fulfill her position as judge. News Of The World had stated…

“And key executives at Fox all realised they had made a big mistake. They have been watching the tapes of her at the American auditions and realising that she could be a huge star over there.”

Wether this statement is completely true is yet to be revealed. For all we know, Cheryl might not even return, and Nicole Scherzinger is still the current judge. If Cheryl does in fact return to the panel, that means that Nicole will most likely get her host position back. However, many were also wondering if Cheryl was really “fired” or “homesick”, and if this was just all a publicity stunt to get her name spread around here in the U.S. What do you think?
