According to KingdomGaga.com, Lady Gaga’s single “Born This Way” has reached 8 million downloads worldwide since its release! This officially makes the track one of the most successful of 2011.

Other song’s that made it as the top selling tracks of last year were Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are”, Jennifer Lopez’s “On The Floor”, The Black Eyed Peas’ “The Time (The Dirty Bit)”, and Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep”.

TIME Magazine tallied up all the pop songs since their opening in 1923 and released their Top 100 Greatest Songs Of All Time. Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” makes the list out of all the pop songs since the 1920′s decade! Here’s an excerpt from the article:

Lady Gaga’s fourth single “Yoü And I” just topped the Billboard Dance Chart, which marks the eleventh song in Gaga’s archives to reach the #1 position on the chart. “Yoü And I” managed to peak at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier last month.

With “Yoü And I” slowly becoming the past, Gaga is getting ready for her next single “Marry The Night.” She revealed the single cover on Twitter last night, and confirmed that she has completely finished shooting the music video. The song will be released as a single sometime next month!

Yahoo! has deemed Lady Gaga’s Born This Way cover one of the most iconic and most recognized album covers of all time. Her cover is the only one from the 2000′s/2010′s decade to make the list. Other artists that made the Top 10 are Michael Jackson, David Bowie, The Beatles, and more. This is another great example of how Gaga is associated with some of the biggest legends!
